Amber Composites are proud to be able to offer a large range of Aluminium & Nomex® core materials to support a wider range of applications and uses. In addition Amber has the largest independent Nomex® and Aluminium cutting/expanding operations in Europe. These materials can be cut to tight tolerances and are available in hexagonal or over-expanded configuration.Extensive stock levels ensure a rapid response to customers’ requirements at all times.

ALUMINIUM
HONEYCOMB
Amber’s AAC core is commercial grade Aluminium Honeycomb made from 3003 alloy aluminium foil. Ambers AAA core is a structural Aerospace grade Aluminium Honeycomb available in 5052 and 5056 alloys.
NOMEX®
HONEYCOMB
Ambers ANA Aerospace grade and ANC Commercial graded core materials are manufactured from Nomex® paper sheets and is coated and bonded together with a high modulus phenolic resin.
NON-METALIC
KEVLAR®
PAPER/PHONOLIC
HRH-36 is manufactured using Kevlar® paper. The standard resin system is phenolic. HRH-36 offers a weight reduction over higher density Nomex® Honeycomb cores.
